The mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, José Manuel Bermúdez , led this morning they made the journey municipal and island authorities Exhibition Cruces Natural Flowers Rambla organized each year by the capital’s City Hall on the occasion of the May Festival . Joining the Mayor in this act the Queen of the May Festival , Patricia Rodriguez Bello and her bridesmaids . On the ride were also present, the Second Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Finance , Alberto Bernabé ; the third Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture , Clara Segura; the fifth Deputy Mayor and CEO of the Society for Development, Florentino Guzman Plasencia ; Councillor for Fiestas , Fernando Ballesteros ; and the councilor responsible for Human Resources , Carmen Delia Albert. The Minister of Museums and Centres of Cabildo, Amaya Conde , joined the tour. In this edition of the celebrations , the exhibition features a total of 12 crosses representing various entities in the Tenerife capital. They also exhibit miniature reproductions of the churches of La Concepción and San Francisco. This year also the 30 crosses made ​​by schools participating in School Contest Cruces with Recycled Materials exposed . The festive day on Saturday will end with the celebration of the solemn pontifical Mass commemorating the 520th anniversary of the founding of Santa Cruz, at 19:30 . After the religious service , the procession will be held with the Holy Cross from the Church of the Conception to walk the streets of Santo Domingo, Calzada de la Noria , Alfonso Dominguez and Father Moore. The event will be attended by the President of the Canarian Government , Paulino Rivero , President of the Cabildo, Carlos Alonso and the mayor , José Manuel Bermúdez , among other civil and military authorities.
